We had the scallops & crab cakes for starters, followed by the beef. Both were extremely well cooked and presented [...]. There is a good selection of wines. The owner checked on us regularly to make sure we were doing fine.

Delicious food and very good service!! I will be back and introduce for my friends to come and enjoy!!

La Badiane’s charming colonial-style building sets the scene for a gorgeously presented and sumptuous French-Asian fusion menu. A great find.

Beautiful colonial villa. Great 3 course set menu lunch with lots of choice. Tranquil setting away from hustle and bustle. Would be a lovely evening spot to dine too.

The restaurant is located in a nice old house of the old Hanoi city, which is both charming and elegant

I had their spring rolls (it said crab but I think it was pork), sea bass, and French toast. It was all very delicious and well presented. Definitely a nice place for a non-Vietnamese / French style meal in Hanoi.

It was superb in every way, oh perhaps the decor was a little tawdry. Amazing food, excellent service.

Initial impressions on entering the restaurant were good, it having a nice ambiance. Service was reasonably good

The food is beautiful, delicious and interesting. The ambiance is warm, charming and quaint. To add to a perfect list, the service is excellent. These are just some of a few reasons why La Badiane is my favorite restaurant in Hanoi.

Beautiful tasting French cuisine. Everything was perfect! So glad we got to visit this restaurant and would love to visit again.

The restaurant staff were absolutely superb, and looked after us incredibly well. The food itself was also incredible, with quite a few interesting flavour combinations, all of which seemed to work in perfect harmony.

The food at La Badiane was very good.

Foie gras, toast and his apple compotle , absolutely delicious, and as i am french, u cant start better to pleased me than with foie gras!

A delicious meal (French with a Vietnamese slant), very good service in slightly eclectic surroundings

This is my favorite for French food. Restaurant was nice, cozy. Food were so delicious with nice decoration.

In a little alley in Hanoi you can get the best of French cuisine at La Badiane. The food was excellent. I had the most tender steak there I have ever tasted. It was included in a degustation menu that was so enjoyable

Excellent French food (and European style dishes) in a very charming and welcoming house. All of the dishes were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Staff are welcoming and attentive and it is a very relaxing atmosphere.

I’ve only eaten the prix fixe menu, but all three meals have great. The beef is one of the best pieces I’ve had, and the scallops are also terrific

I enjoyed each course, especially my dessert, which was vanilla ice cream wrapped in a pancake with a chocolate perched on top

The food served were extremely good. Love the lobster bisque and the desserts. The service is impeccable and food is exquisite. A must-visit Hanoi french restaurant and steadily top the list.
