Eat in a special courtyard restaurant, get exceptionally original french dishes, enjoy the fine seasoning and splendid presentation.

Music was provided by a talented string quartet. The food was delicious and presented artistically. The chef offered a complimentary mushroom tart. Do treat yourself to this fine restaurant when you visit Hanoi. You will be glad you did.

I have been here 2 times in January 2016 for a business lunch and dinner. The food is good. Service is very good. Decoration is old french style which quite nice. The Australia beef is very yum.

Definitely 5 star service level.  Amuse bouche was light and airy, followed by a beautiful starter, then scallops and seafood lasagna as the main, with a beautiful and tasty chocolate cake-like dessert. Highly recommended.

The staff were comfortable taking orders in several other languages as well. The combinations of flavors were refined and much more occidental than oriental. Keep a corner for us here to come back and try more options!

The maitre D is French and has lived here for 10 years. French food. Delicious, matched by a decent wine list. You should not be disappointed.

The meal was amazing and the ambience perfect. We were delighted to have a string quartet to entertain us during the meal. Perhaps a little pricey by Hanoi standards, but this restaurant is really at another level and well worth it.

The decoration is very nice, old style French house. Started with beef and wasabi which my partner who doesn’t like raw beef but she tested and loved it.

The restaurant was like an oasis in the city. We all got the three course meal with appetizer, entrée and desert. I had the tuna for my entrée and it was nice piece of fish that was cooked to perfection. It was a great way for us to end our stay in Hanoi.

If you need a break from the noisy dusty street foods of Hanoi and yearning for a hearty meal this is the place. The ambience and decor is calm, relaxing and fresh. The service impeccable and the food outstanding. You won’t be disappointed!!!

If you need a break from street food — which we love — this is a fabulous place for lunch.

Drinks were creative. Service was great. The food is not really Vietnamese – more French – but it has a great vibe and was a really good treat in contrast…

The place is nicely decorated and has a lot of charm. It is not “overdone”, just the right mood.  Staff is nice, welcomy, happy to spend a bit of time to chat with each customer about the place, their history…

The dining is instead extremely sophisticated. Very fresh food, beautifully presented, lots of research behind.

Lucky to be here for the second time around. It was a welcome surprise to get a table that was reserved at the last minute from Elegant Suites, Westlake. Had the chance to savour their six course dinner.  It was heavenly. Hats off to The Chef…

Totally amazing food in glamourous surroundings. Every meal was a work of art. Treat yourself and splurge on a meal here and for us Aussies we would expect to pay triple these prices for this quality.

The spring rolls are sushi-like, the confit de canard is delicious, and the sorbet with fruits was a nice end of a very nice lunch.

The dessert course is probably the saving grace – the creme brûlée was well executed, the mellow chocolate cake was dependably delicious, and the tiramisu was surprisingly good for a French restaurant.

The setting in a colonial mansion is beautiful.  The service was impeccable, supervised by a very attentive manager.
