When you are in the mood for fine dining – not the stuffy nose-in-the-air kind of fine dining – but modern, exciting, French cooking with many fresh Vietnamese twists – La Badiane is a no-fail choice

Bamydood, New York,  2nd  April, 2016

Sauces are also complex but tasty and well-seasoned. A lot of attention is placed on the plating. Dessert offerings are a feast unto themselves and come in a quartet of samplers – all of which are delectable if not overly generous.

I must say that the new look of La Badiane is definitely refreshing and beautiful.  What was ‘awesomely’ was desert … it was one of the best desert that i have eaten so far…..

We visited last night whilst on a weekend break without kids. The restaurant was superb. The food was delicious and beautifully presented!

The service, flavors, presentation, everything about this restaurant us great. And then the dessert, what a surprising presentation. If you like good food and want to escape the Hanoi feeling. Go to La Badiane!

Over the years I have been dining many times at La Badiane and it has always been great.  After the recent renovation, the courtyard is very charming.  There is no other restaurant in Hanoi, that can match La Badiane.

We have had some excellent meals here in Hanoi, as we are now getting ready to leave we saved La Badiane until the end.

To dine at La Badiane, has been in recent time on my ‘MUST-do list’ whenever I visit lovely Hanoi. This recent visit was my third, with a new menu & renovation, I think La Badiane has grown from strength to strength

Dined here last night with 2 friends. Food was nice, albeit quite rich and on the more expensive side for Hanoi

I had tried some new dishes in the A La Carte menu and they all looked stunning. The food were cooked perfect, balanced while service staff always took care of my lunch and other customers

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. The staff were attentive and the building is beautiful. The lunch menu is fantastic value for money. Highly recommend.

The style is classic French, as it must have been in the long ago days of Hanoi as a French colony. The service was at that very fine level one would expect in Southeast Asia, and was most attentive.

All around a truly wonderful meal and worth every penny. Highly recommend enjoying a meal here if you have the chance!

Eat in a special courtyard restaurant, get exceptionally original french dishes, enjoy the fine seasoning and splendid presentation.

Music was provided by a talented string quartet. The food was delicious and presented artistically. The chef offered a complimentary mushroom tart. Do treat yourself to this fine restaurant when you visit Hanoi. You will be glad you did.

I have been here 2 times in January 2016 for a business lunch and dinner. The food is good. Service is very good. Decoration is old french style which quite nice. The Australia beef is very yum.

Definitely 5 star service level.  Amuse bouche was light and airy, followed by a beautiful starter, then scallops and seafood lasagna as the main, with a beautiful and tasty chocolate cake-like dessert. Highly recommended.

The staff were comfortable taking orders in several other languages as well. The combinations of flavors were refined and much more occidental than oriental. Keep a corner for us here to come back and try more options!

The maitre D is French and has lived here for 10 years. French food. Delicious, matched by a decent wine list. You should not be disappointed.

The meal was amazing and the ambience perfect. We were delighted to have a string quartet to entertain us during the meal. Perhaps a little pricey by Hanoi standards, but this restaurant is really at another level and well worth it.
